The John Breaux Story

is a documentary of a man whose life purpose became that of always helping others without ever asking for help or expecting anything in return.  It is a wonderful, inspirational and unusual story of how the deeds of one man touched so many people.  How RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS touched and changes those people’s lives.  This film will have moving images, portraits with people sharing their personal experience about John Breaux and footage of John himself.  Part of this documentary is seen as that of people telling their story about John and how much he said, "I have to be more like Jesus, for the people."  This story will include footage, various still action photos and news footage of John Breaux.

White Bike Productions, LLC is a newcompany that will rely on the proven skills of its Founder in bringing communities together through collaborative efforts and coordinating events to bring interesting and compelling film projects to the public. Lorenza Maksimow will lead the company, as it establishes itself, as a high quality film production company. White Bike Productions, LLC will initially begin by producing a public service documentary.

John was anintegral part of the Lafayette-Louisville communities and made a huge impact onthousands of people. Unfortunately, we - like so many others - did notmake the effort to acknowledge him the way we should have when he wasalive. Seeing the outpouring of grief from so many people at hisfuneral made us want to do something that would keep John's legacyalive. Thus was born White Bike Productions to create a film abouthis life. Given how freely he gave to the community without asking foranything in return, our philosophy for creating the company and the filmfollows what John did in his life.

The filmcompany is the vehicle for making John's story available to morepeople. The objective is to create this documentary and raise fundsthrough a non profit organization that aligns with the same mission ofcreating and sharing the story about an extraordinary man who made an amazingimpact on community; furthermore, so that community can engage in random actsof kindness. The end result willbe to have a fund set up in John Breaux’ name that will be administered througha local non-profit organization, such as The Community Foundation, to benefitcauses that John was passionate about.

It will also be used to carry on the work so loved by John. The documentary on John would be the first project undertaken by the company that deals with community issues.

All of this cameout of knowing John and wishing we all could be more like John. LorenzaMaksimow, company owner, can remember watching John shovel snow rightaround the corner from her house, and talking to John through the fence at themiddle school next door to her house, as he picked up trash. She relatesstories about John riding home during winter without his coat becausehe had given it to someone else. It is that unselfishness that shewants to immortalize and, she is not doing this project out of profitmotivation. She wants to have the difference that John made in thiscommunity be duplicated all over this country in honor of him.

We invite you to join us in this project so that you can contribute to John's memory aswell. We are seeking ideas from the community and we want the impact that John made here to go far beyond thestate of Colorado.
